Worried about DD 10 months

Bigger DD brought home a nasty virus from nursery a couple of weeks ago. High temp, lethargic, coughing, cold. DD 10 months caught it off her a couple of days later. We have all been PCRd and it's not Covid.

I'm now very worried about DD2 and can't put my finger on why. She is taking a while to get over this virus. She seems very lethargic but not 'poorly' if that makes sense? She was very solidly on two naps a day and sleeping around 11-12 hours at night, and since this virus she is struggling to stay awake for more than 2 hours at a time and despite going to bed at 6.30pm I had to wake her at 7.30am this morning so that I wasn't late for work. I kept her off childcare initially but have now sent her back (although she's with her dad today) because on paper is she not actually unwell. A slight residual cough leftover and a bit snotty but not too bad. She's ok when she's awake apart from obviously very tired and she is also not really eating any solids at all, only having milk. She is occasionally still having high temperatures overnight but never during the day.

I don't know why I'm so concerned, my eldest had millions of bugs and viruses and she always bounced back. But something just doesn't feel quite right here and I don't know why. Should I take her to the GP or is there even any point? I think they will just say that she has a virus.

I say trust your gut. We moms have a distinct intuition. Like you said you just feel something is not quite right, how about you take her to the GP. At least let them check her out, no harm to it. Could be nothing tbh as sometimes smaller ones takes a lot longer to get over colds than bigger ones but just to put your mind at ease I'd check with the GP. Not staying awake for more than 2 hours is also a concern as well. Hope it all gets sorted x
