Dermoid cyst

Hi all,
My LO is 9 weeks old and has just been diagnosed with a dermoid cyst on her eyebrow. It’s the size of a 5p piece at the moment and seems to be growing fairly quickly.
The dr has referred us for an ultrasound scan but has said if it isn’t affecting her development they would prefer not to operate.
Has anyone had any experience with their LO being diagnosed so young with a dermoid cyst and did you push for it to be removed and if so, did they remove it in the end?
I don’t want to wait for it to affect her development or sight before they do something about it.

My little brother had a dermoid cyst in the outer corner of his eyebrow. It looked really massive at the time. He was under Great Ormond Street who did CT scans on him to check whether it was getting bigger or not. After age 4, I kid you not it seemed to just disappear overnight.
