Ringworm rash on babies face 😭??

Its been a long while since youve posted this but my baby has the same looking rash exept his has spread like crazy since I thought it was just drool rash from teething 😭 the doc said ringworm fungal infection but nobody else has gotten it and its supposed to be contagious???? What did she end up having and how did you get rid of it?

Did the dr not prescribe anything?
You can buy clotrimozole cream otc at the pharmacy but check with pharmacist that it’s okay to use on your baby due to age.

Yes it’s really contagious but, due to incubation period, it can take time to show up. Don’t share towels, bedding & keep contact with area down, always wash hands etc.
ringworm of the scalp is usually seen 10 to 14 days after contact and ringworm of the body is seen 4 to 10 days after initial contact
