Have almost completely all gone on the top lid. I think she’s been rubbing her eyes a lot this week as she hasn’t been sleeping well.

Should I wait a couple of weeks to see if they grow back or go to the doctor to see if it could be something more serious?

It might be trichotillomania (hair pulling.) I've had the eye lash version since I was 9. I don't think rubbing would make them come out

I agree its probably trichotillomania my son has it, he's 11 and has had it for years, she probably doesn't even realise she is doing it or if she does has no control over it. If it is please see the Doctor but dont hope for any miracle cures.
