Has anyone had a kid with tendonitis? In this case in his foot due to football- played all day on Monday and has been in pain since first thing Tuesday. X-ray yesterday showed no bone issue and nurse practitioner in a&e said it was tendonitis, rather dismissive and made him out to be making a fuss. Google not helpful. Boy in pain whenever he walks (for 3 days so far) pretty miserable and I’m very unsure what to do to help esp when back at school next week. Currently ibuprofen helps a lot but they won’t administer it at school. I guess I can ask for a doctor’s note? Atm he can’t get by without it.
Any advice appreciated. ps he is 6.
