Daughter says her heart hurts

Just wondering what everyone would do in my shoes? My daughter is 5 and sometimes complains that her "heart hurts" she is an active and healthy girl and I think I've only ever taken her to the doctor's once but I don't want to ignore her incase there is a small chance of something being wrong!

Take her to the GP, no harm in getting a check up to put your mind at rest.

If she was in a lot of discomfort which doesn’t ease with calpol and was happening frequently I would contact the doctors.
If it was once in a while I would make a note and any information which I thought may be relevant and see if I could spot a pattern, this could always be used if you go to the doctors. For example my DS gets headaches if he forgets to drink enough. Maybe be worth getting her eyes tested if you haven’t? Ultimately if you are worried take her to the doctors that is what they for.

Get her checked.

Ds used to complain of this and it turned out to be indigestion.

I used to get quite bad heartburn as a small child (still do now) and I vividly remember a teacher laughing when I told her that I'd got heartburn one day, I think she thought kids didnt get it.

I'd get her checked just to be safe incase it's something else. And maybe see what could be triggering it (toast, tea, weetabix and ginger biscuits for me)
