Mottled skin on 4 year old

I have noticed over the last few days that a few times just the tops of my daughters hands and slightly on her arms have looked mottled. It has randomly appeared and then goes away after a time. When she has it her arms and hands have felt cold. We have had a lot of health issues in the family already this year and so I am trying not to be to paranoid but I do no that having mottled skin can be an early sign of types of illnesses, I wondered if anyone else had noticed this on their child, wondered with the weather if it’s just her skin reacting to the cold or if it’s something I should worry about. She has also been saying her legs hurt every few days though still running around.

Any advice or experience in this would be most appreciated. Thank you Xxx

You’re best calling your GP in the morning. It doesn’t sound right

It's normal for the skin of your hands to mottle if its cold, isnt it?

Blimey, me and DD often look like stilton with the mottling, I think you only need to worry if it's convinced with other symptoms. When DS was a baby we did worry when his skin was mottled but he also went blue and floppy.

If everything else is ok you don't need to worry, maybe just bung another layer on her

Thank you all for the comments my daughter was going to the doctors for another issue and I asked them while their and they said it’s very common in kids for the hands and sometimes arms to get slightly mottled particularly in the colder months as they are not as good at regulating their temp. Really appreciate the replies xx
