Is this petechiae?

Hi everyone, i thought i could add photos but seems i cant. Suddenly some petechial looking rash appeared on childs arm. Anyone experienced something similar which didnt end up something important? Thank you so much.

Yes DS2 was very prone to getting those little red speckles when he was little and got a virus, DS1 had never had them so I was so worried. Once we even ended up on the paediatric ward for 2 days as they were worried he had meningitis. It wasn't the rash alone that had them worried though - it was combined with being unwell, stiff neck, vomiting etc. It cleared up after 2 days and wasn't meningitis thankfully. After a few doctor's visits and late night dashed to A&E, we got used to seeing the petichiae appear when he was under the weather and they mostly stopped when he was about 3.

How is your DC in themselves? Any stiff neck, doesn't like bright lights, fever or anything?
