5 month old fussiness

My baby is normally a very happy, fun and energetic baby. He began teething and one tooth came, and he was pretty fussy while that was happening. But now he's literally screaming, yelling, fussing and crying all day long. I don't understand what's happening. It's like he's just in a bad mood almost all day long unless you're entertaining him or distracting him and sometimes that doesn't even work. Did anyone else go through this? If so how long did the phase last? I've literally called off work this week because he was doing so bad. Also we went to the doctor and nothing is wrong health wise thankfully.

Sounds like he is in pain with his teeth?

Yes I’m afraid my DS had a very grumpy phase… just never happy. It lasted a couple of months, sorry. He was much happier at 7 months.

Well something’s bothering him, even if the doctor didn’t find anything at the first quick once-over. Have you tried painkillers? I would take him back and push for further consideration of what could be causing this.
