My DD is 16 months and had her first day at nursery on Friday and of course could an awful cold. She recently started with a chesty cough her breathing rate is slightly faster but I think this is because she can’t breathe from her nose she doesn’t sound wheezy however her snot for the last 2 days has been bright green. Online I have seen this is a good sign that everything is clearing out but also read this could mean she has an infection but she hasn’t had a temp above 37.5. We are using vapour baths, calpol plug ins and cal cough. Does anyone have advice or think she needs a doctors appointment? I’ve been a very lucky mummy previously and other than an ear infection as a baby she’s never been ill.
