Semi skimmed milk help?

My Son is 9 months old and from weaning I have been cooking or using semi skimmed milk (scrambled egg porridge weetabix etc etc) he has a really healthy diet and 3 meals a day with 3 bottles of formula and gaining weight.

Now I’ve worried myself reading something I should’ve been giving him whole milk? Is that just for the calories and fats? Or has semi skimmed for something ‘wrong’ with it- it’s not his drink at all so I assumed it was fine?!

It’s fine, don’t worry 😊

His main milk is still formula. Switch to full fat when he stops having that. He's fine, no need to worry.

It was a long time ago @KMwills but I remember my then SIL acting like I was a terrible parent for giving mine semi skimmed before they were adults 🤣 There’s always something!

No hun, it is just for nutrition reasons, and you still give formula so it absolutely fine.
As others mentioned, full fat would be your best choice after formula. ;)

@MaternityNurse007 Thank you v much! He’s a little chunk so I’m assuming he’s doing alright 😉 xx
