Can anyone help me with wart removal solutions please?

DS (8) has had warts on his fingers for a year.

We’ve tried Warty, covering in Duck tape and the blue stuff (I forget the name but he said it hurt).

Lazion wart remover if you find it, it’s out of stock in Amazon. Comes in two pens/brushes and works really well. I had a few warts on my hands after using steroid creams for too long and I tried many things before buying this.

Get someone he respects to tell him they will go.

Ridiculous I know.

DS1 insisted on seeing the GP about his. The lovely GP reassured him they would go on their own soon. Literally within a week or two, they were gone. Disappeared. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it.

That looks good @Lovemusic33. I’ll keep an eye out.

Interesting idea @picklemewalnuts. He might ask for scientific proof though Grin

I heard good stories about apple vinegar.
Might be worth a try.

I've come to the conclusion that's where stories about selling them or rubbing them with a gold ring come from.

The subconscious is a strange thing.

I too came to the decision to leave them alone. DS had so many, GP even referred us to a dermatologist for freezing (not done in kids anymore). They have, low and behold all but disappeared overnight (he is 8).

Ringergodgers · 11/01/2022 16:02

My dd had them..they will disappear by magic!

TeaAndStrumpets · 11/01/2022 16:07

Some people "buy" them. 50p should do it....let us know how you get on!

PoodleKaboodle · 11/01/2022 16:07

DD was riddled with them when she was younger, all over her fingers, loads around her nails and on her face.
GP couldn’t have given less of a shit so went to see a private dermatologist and he prescribed Differin. It was a miracle, they all started to go after a week or so.

I used the extra strong bazuka on ds at about that age. All it took was one application.
