My dd 14 has had various breathing difficulties for the past 10 months - various admittances in hospital. She has been diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction where her vocal cords are moving paradoxically - this has beeb happening in a constant attack for the past 8 weeks. She makes a large stridor noise when breathing in. However, for the last week she has also had extreme problems swallowing both food and water - she was hospitalised and discharged after 2 nights with a referral to SALT but I don’t really know how to cope in the meantime. She is losing lots of weight and I am really scared about aspiration pneumonia. It takes her over an hour to even eat a small amount of food as she is coughing so violently. Can anyone help please
