Sudden frequent peeing in six year old son

My six year son is suddenly peeing often but says he doesn't feel unwell and isn't in pain at all (Urine is a normal colour with no foul smell and with no burning). It started Wednesday this week after he was talked to by his dad (ex) about school (child is home educated). I feel he could be stressed and this is what's causing it?.

Thanks.

Does anyone have an idea what could be going on?.

Is he drinking more? Does he seem tired?

It might be worth taking him to the Dr's to get checked over, and ask them to do a blood test to check for diabetes.

Had he lost weight? Is he drinking excessively? And does he seem more irritable and tired?

I second getting his bloods checked. That was an early symptom that my son had.
