2 year old D&V

My 2 year old is on day 4 of D&V. She's still being ill (both ends sorry TMI!), barely drinking and not really keeping down the small bits of food she has tried. She's got no energy, sleeping on me constantly and when awake just staring into space really.

Have seen the Dr today - she was lovely. Took all her observations and said they are all looking good, and phoned me again at the end of the day to make sure she was getting on OK and had at least one wet nappy. Going to go back in tomorrow morning for her to retake all observations again.

I just feel at a loss, she was already a teeny girl and she's just lost any fat she had- he little tummy has reduced to nothing. She's got nothing in her and no energy to do anything at all. Dr said it might go on for up to 10 days! Has anyone got any pearls of wisdom or things I can try to help her out a bit? Thank you

Don't worry about solid food, it always feels terrifying, but they always regain their weight.
For fluids, ice lollies, jelly, breast milk (If you are nursing), using a straw, using baby bottles.
