Chicken pox tips

Hello
Am on day two of chicken pox with a 4 year old - he's incredibly uncomfortable.
I know it will pass just wanted some tips on the best way of coping with the next few days.
We are staying with relatives for Christmas so not in our own surroundings, everyone's stressed about covid so this has come as a surprise.

Thanks in advance

Antihistamines for itching. Poxclin or virasoothe for putting on the spots. Calpol if required but dont use ibuprofen as it can cause adverse skin reactions

Think its piriton syrup that helps stop itching

Bicarb of soda (a whole tub used in baking) in a luke warm bath. 2-3 times a day if needed.

Does wonders for itchy spots.

Porridge oats in the bath helped dd.

We are in the same situation, day 3 here.

We’ve been using poxclin on our ds & calpol when needed.
