What is this?

On my little boys face under his eyes. Exactly the same either side under the eye. I originally thought his glasses were maybe a bit too tight but definitely not that. Are they dimples? Definitely not a bruise as they have been there for a good while now. Looking back at older pictures it looks like they have maybe always been there. Sometimes they look more obvious than others. Any ideas??

I think I know what you mean. My son has them I think but I only notice it in certain lights, when you can see a slight shadow. I just thought it was part of a chubby toddler face?

It's like a bit dimple looking/bumpy. No colour to it and you can't feel anything raised . Exactly the same on both sides of his face under the eyes. Yes Yamaya,I notice exactly the same in certain lights. Sometimes I see nothing. Good to know it's not just my son.
