Hello, my daughter is 2 years old and had the flu vaccination injection 3 days ago, since then she has came down with a temperature, off her food, and a sore bum due to diarrhea. Has anyone else's little ones experienced this?

Temperature, being off food is a common side effect, it’s generally short lasting, usually a couple of days. If you’ve been giving calpol for the temp that can cause diarrhoea if they’ve had quite a bit.

Sorry, just realised you said injection. Are you not in the U.K. or do they have underlying issues / compromised contacts so they had to have the injection rather than nasal?

Yes my daughter has health issues so we was advised for her to have the injection rather than the nasal spray.

If you are the U.K. then it could have been Fluarix.
Temperature and loss of appetite common but only mentions diarrhoea as common side effect in age 6+

You can report side effects here on the yellow card scheme, if you are concerned then you could speak to out of hours or speak to the surgery tomorrow.
