Toddler toe nail coming off?

My DD who is 21 months old has got a funky looking big toe nail. It looks like there's a break in the nail and like it's going to fall off. It doesn't appear to be sore. She did have hand, foot and mouth but that was a few months ago but not sure if it could be linked. Do I just leave it alone and see what happens?

Morning, OP. Might be worth sending that pic to your health visitor just to check, but we've bumped your post in hopes someone who's seen similar will along soon.

Did she hurt it? I'd just be safe and show the doctors. Would it be okay to put a plaster on it temporarily so she's not catching it on her socks etc.
