Sneaky ideas for Amoxicillin

D2 is 14 months and on Amoxicillin for awful wet cough and earache that just hasn't cleared up.

She won't even take Calpol without it being mixed with yoghurt... and this is way worse. She's also off her food at the moment, feeling poorly.

For DD1 we used to hide it in a small amount of Frijj chocolate milk, but this little bear will not be fooled!

Any sneaky ideas on how to hide it?

The holding down is wearing thing 😬

Interesting enough my DD liked the taste of it but we could get anything else in her at the time.

Put it in a Calpol syringe and dream feed it to her while she’s asleep at night/napping in the day. Aim for the inside of her cheek as she won’t be able to spit it out. Sounds barbaric but it’s the only way I could get DD to take any medicine at all between the ages of 1-4.

Good luck, it’s awful I know and we’ve still got issues with it now!

If she takes a dummy I’ve heard that making a hole and sneaking it in through there works. Ds loved it luckily! He’s a calpol lover though so I’m pretty Lucky
