Returning to school after broken collarbone

5 year old broke his collar bone today. Asked nurse re returning to school and she just said whenever. How long have your DC needed off?

My DD broke her collarbone when she was 3. She broke it on the Sunday and went back to preschool on the Wednesday (i.e. 3 days later).

Your DS should be ok to go back to school on Monday, I would say. He will probably just need to avoid PE, outdoor playtimes and any other vigorous activities for the next week or two.
