I always thought the 12 week vaccinations didn't cause a temp? My little boy had his yesterday at 4pm and although hasn't got a temp. His normal temp is 36.6-36.8. It has been 37.2 all morning. Any other mums had this?

Temperature is a common response to any vaccination, the nurse doing the vaccination should have gone through all the side effects though.

No she really didn't. Just that as it didn't have the meningitis vaccine he wouldn't need calpol. Thank you

DS had a temperature after all three vaccinations. He hit 39.4C after the 12 week vaccinations.

37.2 isn't anything to worry about

Posted too soon - 38 is considered a temperature.
They aren't necessarily a bad thing: it's the normal immune response of the body.
