My dd is almost 4 and has been fully toilet trained for about a year. She trained quite easily and has rarely accidents since then.
Whenever she gets ill she gets constipation afterwards. This usually lasts a couple of days and then sorts itself out. However a few weeks ago she had a virus and following it she had bad constipation. When she did go she bled quite a bit and it was painful for her. I took her to the gp about the bleeding and she prescribed lactolase and sachets to soften her stools. She is now terrified of going to the toilet and chooses to go in her pants or on the floor, she has even done this at preschool. She keeps saying she hates the toilet and wants nappies! Yesterday she even urinated on the floor. Her bottom no longer looks sore and she hasn't had blood but it's like she's now scared of the toilet. Any advice? Am getting worried to take her out, it's like going through potty training again!
