Will he be ok now?

Please don’t judge I feel like the worlds worst mum right now😭 I was making DS’s bottle (he’s 9 months) and I walked into the living room to see him gagging. I picked him up and he was just constantly gagging and making strange faces. I was tapping his back and he was vomiting over and over. He threw up on the floor and I noticed that there was a bit of a chocolate wrapper in the sick. I must have missed it when tidying up. After this he was fine and he’s currently crawling around. He will be ok now won’t he? I have bad anxiety I’m still shaking and worrying if he’ll be ok. Lesson bloody learnt

He'll be fine. Feels dramatic at the time, but his vomit reflex did its job.

His body worked as it should.
It's scary when it happens but he'll be fine Smile

My DD had a habit of crawling over to the cat's bowl and eating cat food about the same age. She's a teen now and perfectly healthy apart from the odd miaow.

Don't feel bad. He's fine! At 9 months old, I found DS snacking on a monster spider. It's legs were hanging out of his mouth. Hmm Not my finest parenting moment. Grin
