Flu nasal spray and snotty nose

This may be a stupid question..
DD (2.5) has an appointment for her flu vaccine, the nasal spray, tomorrow morning. It’s her first time having it due to her age.
Is she fine to have it if she’s a bit under the weather? Nothing bad, just the tail end of a fairly mild cold, my main concern is a snotty nose and the fact it’s a nasal spray, will the snot prevent it going in properly, or is that nonsense? She’s not really able to blow her nose so while I can wipe it, it’s not going to clear it.

The appointment is shortly after the surgery opens and I don’t want to call beforehand as the phone lines will be really busy. Obviously I can ask when I get there, I just don’t want the wasted journey if this is the kind of thing that I should really know means she can’t have it.

My DD had hers today, they asked if she was ill but by that they meant on antibiotics/currently has a temp etc.

DD has a permanently runny nose, but I just used a saline spray on her in the morning so it cleared it a bit and they seemed fine about it.

My DD had the nasal spray last week with a mild cold. I asked the nurse about it, she said if the cold was really bad (high temperature, very blocked up), then they wouldn't do it, but for a milder cold they do.

Did she have it? The staff doing the spray can make that decision - just mention the cold. Dd had the flu spray with a snotty nose recently. They were happy to do it.

Ah sorry, I did appreciate the replies but didn’t have a chance to respond!
Yes, she had it, they said it was fine as long as she didn’t have a temp or anything.
