My daughter, partner and I took lateral flows and all came back postive. We have had pcrs and they are negative. However I've done another lateral flow on my daughter as I'm not convinced she hasn't got it as she had a temp of 38.4 yesterday and got a really bad cough. And it's faint postive.

Is it possible to have covid and have a negative pcr!
My anxiety is sky high. I have refused to take her to nursery as I know deep down something is wrong!

Please could I have some advice.

It was maybe too early for a PCR to pick it up. Maybe test again in a day or 2

From your description it sounds very possible she has an infection with a virus, but it might not be Covid. So I'm sure they would thank you for not sending her in while she has a temperature and is coughing everywhere.
