So my son (3) went through a phase of crying at night with foot pain in both feet that we put down to growing pains as it was just now and then. He would complain his feet hurt in the day occasionally usually if he had walked for long periods or worn new shoes or wellies.
He then went on a trampoline and jarred his knee and then it kept giving way. With rest it was fine. I let him on a tiny trampoline type thing the other day (local park and about 5ft by 5ft without much bounce!) he was fine then later that day the same knee gave way when running. He’s rested since and seems ok but still says foot hurts and for me to rub it. He also does this alot when he’s been crouching down to do a poo in his nappy (wears nappy at night and does his poo as soon as he wakes!) he then says feet hurt but I think that’s cramp as he’s been in a funny position!
Does this sound concerning or just like he has a weakness in one leg and I will NEVER let on a trampoline or similar again! I am hyper mobile so wonder if he is too!
I am a worrier and scare myself it’s something terrible but when I asked a GP last time it happened she said serious pain for a serious issue doesn’t come and go. I just need some reassurance if anyone experienced the same?!
Thanks
