Rotavirus Experiences please?

Hi all,

My daughter had her second lot of rotavirus vaccine 14 days ago.
She had no effects (that I noticed) with the first lot, however this time it has been a different story.
For 9 days after, she went from one bowel movement a day to one every three days. This wasn’t so much a problem as she didn’t seem to be in pain, no bloated tummy etc.
Then, last Friday she was very distressed in the evening. Couldn’t be consoled until in desperation I gave her a dose of calpol as I was wondering if she was in pain. She calmed and went to sleep, and in the night produced the most foul nappy I have ever dealt with.
Since then she’s been doing two nappies a day, but this evening started the same terrible crying, drawing her knees to her chest, unable to feed because of it.
I dosed her up with calpol again and she’s sleeping now.
I m waiting to see if she’s going to do another awful nappy and am going to call the GP in the morning, but can anyone tell me their experiences of the rotavirus vaccine?
Should it still be having an effect this far after?
