Just looking for a little advice, my daughter is 7 weeks old and has colic, I've never had to deal with a colicy baby before. She's also on laxatives to help her poo and she was extremely constipated and the doctor said this can also build up the gasses so to cut back on her laxatives dosage so I've done that. I've got infacol for her and gripe water, I burp her after each ounce or two and I've been referred for baby massage classes as this is meant to help for colic and constipation, I've tried following a YouTube video for the mean time on how to do this and this seems to give her some comfort, the bath also helps and lying her on her tummy on my knees she also finds comfortable. Just wondering if there is anything else anyone can suggest for me to try and help her get a bit more wind up? She seems to be struggling more to fart rather than burp! Thanks in advance

Forgot to mention she also uses tommee tippee anti colic bottles already but is there any other better anti colic bottles I could use?

Sometimes this is a cows milk allergy. What formula is she on?

Some kids get constipated with CMPA. You could switch to a hydrolysed formula to see if it helps

I'll have a look into this, thank you!

An extension to this, I ended up trying the colief drops which apparently breaks down the lactose in the formula milk so it's easier for them to digest, I ran out of them last night and the chemist was shut today so I've not been able to get more and since she's not had them she's been extremely unsettled, do you think this could be sign of a cows milk allergy? I'm phoning the doctors in the morning anyway to discuss x
