1 year jab temperature spike

My little one had he’s jabs yesterday and this morning has spiked a temperature even though I gave him calpol twice yesterday (the one before bed was about 12am) I have given him another dose but it hasn’t gone down just sat the same. Should I be concerned? I was told by so many they don’t develop temperatures and their babies were fine so now I’m worrying. The nurse told me it’s likely he won’t too. Has anyone else had this ? How long should it last if so?

It is normal for their temp to spike after jabs.
Open a window as that's best to regulate temps.
Is he fine in himself otherwise?

@Moonshine11 yeah he’s a bit grizzly not eating much etc just worried the calpol and neurofen aren’t changing the temperature or bringing it down
