My 8 month old fell back and banged his head on the carpet on Tuesday. After crying for around 30 seconds he seemed fine so I didn’t think anymore of it. All last night and this morning he’s been vomiting loads. And I mean loads. Coming out of his nose and this morning he started choking on it. He’s really pale and more sleepy than usual. I phoned 111 and they advised a&e. Currently sat here waiting to be seen with him. I feel so annoyed with myself and so guilty if this is connected to him banging his headSad

Oh poor you and them. Hopefully it’s not related at all.

He’s got a really bad cough too and seems chesty when he breathes. Also not drinking all his bottles which is unusual. Best case scenario he’s just got a cold and it’s that that’s making him sick and pale

It probably is just a coincidence OP. You're in the right place. Hope he's on the mend soon.

How are you getting on @Sprinkles32

GoodnightGrandma · 28/10/2021 17:26

He probably fell because he was becoming unwell.
Don’t beat yourself up about it.

CocaColaTruck1 · 28/10/2021 17:28

Not your fault, how's things?🤍

Sprinkles32 · 28/10/2021 17:54

Hi, he’s fine we’re home nowSmile They said he’s got a respiratory tract infection which is causing the cough and they weren’t concerned about the bump to the head and said the vomiting is more than likely down to gastroenteritis. So nothing serious thankfully! Thanks for the replies!
