8 month old Chest infection

Hi all, DS2 is 8 months and was told by GP yesterday he's got a chest infection and maybe slight bronchitis so given antibiotics and inhaler.

He's taking the antibiotics fine, but getting him to take the inhaler is proving a struggle (not that I expected any less!). He needs 3 puffs a day, 10 inhales through the chamber each time.

Any tips on using an inhaler for a small yet strong willed baby?
Also, any advice on how to soothe the cough? He's been waking himself up every 45 minutes at night with a coughing fit which results in throwing up bless him.

Have lifted the head end of the cot, sat in steamy bathroom, kept upright as much as poss whilst awake and offering liquids little and often.

Thank you! Sleep deprivation is taking its toll and hate seeing him so miserable ConfusedSmilexx
