Hello
My 8 year old ds suffers with bedwetting. He's never had a dry night in his whole life despite being dry in the day from a very early age. We finally got to see a peadeatrician today who said it was a clear case of primary bedwetting and has prescribed Desmomelt tablets. I'm happy with the plan in place but I just want to go into it with my eyes open and would love to hear experiences from others whose dc have used/are using it.
Thanks

That's really interesting @Remmy123 We can't afford an alarm so will wait until our follow up appointment in a couple of months to mention it and see if they could maybe loan us one

I think the alarm we got was about £20. We were spending that on pyjama pants every month or so. I might be able to find it and send it to you though. Might take some digging as we've moved house since then. Plus we did what other people have said about drink more during the day, avoid certain drinks altogether, no drinks for 2 hours before bed, double void at bedtime. We also tried a book called dry nights in 10 days or something. Mixed results on the book, but apparently it works wonders for some. I bought into the hormone story until we were staring down the barrel of school camp.
