I've just noticed some pink/red spots on DS leg. I can't see any anywhere else at the moment. He seems fine in himself and no other symptoms. Not sure if these do look like early chicken pox spots or not?

Don't see any picture
Chicken pox doesn't usually just appear on legs

Pictures have appeared. Chicken pox form into fluid filled blisters

Knitsewthread · 20/10/2021 10:38

Thanks dementedpixie - how long does it normally take for that to happen/spots to spread?

dementedpixie · 20/10/2021 11:06

Normally form blisters quite quickly. Do you have pets for it to be flea bites?

Knitsewthread · 20/10/2021 11:18

No, no pets. Hopefully just a mild reaction to something like washing powder and nothing more.

I came in here as concerned about spots and my DS started like this but now there is more.

Someone mentioned HFM? But I don't honestly know, might be worth an NHS google on that to see if the spots match?

Chicken pox tends to be on the torso whereas hand foot and mouth tends not to be
