Temp of 39.5

DS 2.5 had a high temperature on Tuesday. Covid test came back negative. He then had a sickness bug on Wednesday which he recovered from quickly but has had a snotty nose and a bit of a cough ever since. Today he’s acting fine in himself but has a temp of 39.5. It's come down to 38.5 with Calpol. Any advice on what we should do? Does he need another Covid test?

If he is acting fine
Carry on
Cslpol
Fluids

If he becomes lethargic
Call 111

Coming down with calpol is really promising.
I agree with the advice above.

Other viruses are available Smile
It’s probably one of them.

Thanks. I'll see how he is tomorrow and take it from there.

If you have some LFT at home I would do one while he is asleep.
