My son is 19 months . He's never slept through. However I'm now wondering if something is wrong.

He wakes up 2 or 3 times a night. Not hungry, calpol doesn't help, not teeth, I try vapor rub the lot but he wakes up crying abd uncomfortable. The only way he goes to sleep for a length of time is if I hold him upright. I was up 3 times last night. First for an hour, then 20 mins then 2 hrs.

He coughs alot too and always has a runny nose. They have had a lot if colds recently but he was like it before.

Could something like enlarged adenoids cause an issue? When he wakes he is usually mouth breathing and sounding congested.

I'm so tired I could cry

Well as an update I'm case anyone has had similar problems. He is being referred to a paediatrician for possible sleep apnea issues
