Calpol plug vaporiser safety? Help!!

First time poster with an urgent question…

Has anyone left a calpol plug in for several nights (with pad inserted)?

I plugged it in on Thursday evening for my stuffy 18mo, and on Friday morning we left to go visit grandparents in Germany (ill grandmother). In the chaos of leaving, did not remember to unplug it. We won’t be back until Sunday evening, and as we’ve just moved house, no one else has a key yet who can go in and pull the plug out!

I’m having nightmares of a fire starting etc., especially as the directions are to leave it plugged in for no more than 16 hours. Anyone have any helpful experiences? Feeling incredibly stupid…

It cuts out when the water runs out x

I use it as a night light. It’s been on constantly for over a week in my room with the same pad as I can’t bother to switch it off.
Please don’t worry it will be fine

There's no water in a calpol plug in.

I'm sure it'll be fine OP.

It's made by Calpol, not some Dodge Chinese importer on Amazon. It will have a safety cut out.

CocaColaTruck1 · 15/10/2021 20:30

It'll cut out op
