My daughter is 8. She’s had tummy ache and loose, urgent stools for a very long time (on and off). She eats loads and says she is still hungry but she’s very slim. Coeliac disease test came back negative but they want another blood test in a few months.

Thanks in advance for any insight/experience!

Have they ever done a stool test?

BrutusMcDogface · 15/10/2021 20:34

No, actually. What would they be looking for? Thanks for your reply!

Dairy issues?

BrutusMcDogface · 15/10/2021 20:35

Hmm....for the first time, worms just occurred to me.....!

Yes I suppose it could be dairy issues. Should try and keep some kind of food/poo diary?!

Why do they want to do another blood test? Did they say?

I read OP and thought worms. The medicine is only about £8 a bottle and you need to repeat after 2 weeks and wash clothes and bedding. Worth a try- could be the issue.
