1 year old daughter has come out in this rash tonight, it does blanch with a glass. Then I found the blister like spots on her heel?
Any ideas? Well within herself so don't feel I need to contact 111 tonight

There's loads of posts about HFM recently. Must be lots of it about

My DD had this 2 years ago from head to toe! Yes it looks the same as HFM

The GP prescribed my DD piriton as I had no idea it was itchy and made them irritable my poor DD barely slept until we gave her the piriton

DS who is also 1 has just got over a bout of both chicken pox and HFM/impetigo. Looks more like HFM call the doc in the morning just to confirm

Hope it passes quick Thanks

Thank you all, I thought it did, will give the gp a call in the morning just to check, poor girl had chicken pox last month and just finished antibiotics for a chest & ear infection. Thank you again!

My LO has got HFM athe moment too although initially I thought it were impetigo. He came out in the rash on wednesday night and the rash is still there, not better but not worse. How is your LO? Did you go to the GP?

Daisy95 · 16/10/2021 22:22

@Wingingit07 she seems fine too, rash is still there no worse no better but is fine in herself, maybe a little of her food. I sent the gp photos just to check as she also had the rash on her thigh, but she more just to clarify. I hope your LO is ok!
