Okay so this all started as a cough which was triggering her gag reflex causing her to be sick. She had her cough for about a week. We got some antibiotics which cleared the cough up and she seemed to be tuning a corner when she started being sick. She's only sick once a day sometimes more. She does seem OK in herself during the day she has lost her appetite but we're managing to get the odd bits down her. She's drinking little and often. Refuses hydration sachets unless she's half asleep. 2 weeks in total she's been poorly now. Doctors say it's a stomach bug and to get fluids down her. Very concerned

Oh it's horrid when they are ill and worrying.
Is she eating at all? If so cut out all dairy products, it can irriate tummies when ill.
I would feed bland foods, toast, rice, chicken. And ready salted crisps are good because they are tasty, full of fats, cards, salts.

Ice lollies are good because it gets liquid in.

Keep a 'wee' diary so if you get more concerned you can tell them exactly what's going on.

There's loads of bugs and because we haven't been mixing for 18months it's taking some longer to get over or instantly getting another because our immune system.is down. Perhaps a multi vitamin or probotic for children may help?
