Hi all
My 2.5year old has recently started nursery for the first time - I was expecting her to become ill within the first couple of weeks ! Which she has!
But her symptoms are so bizarre (I have also caught the same thing too and my symptoms are similar )

  • runny nose
  • very slightly raised temperature 37.7 and some days 38.
  • the temperature has been coming and going for a whole 7 days now . The start of the week she was really poorly then during the middle of the week she was absolutely fine , and then tonight just after I had kept her off nursery as she had a temp this morning but then right as rain during the day, she has another temp tonight - but other than being a little clingy , she doesn't have any other symptoms.

I am experiencing the same on and off temperature too but I did have a sore throat with mine for ages that felt like tonsillitis for a couple of days , but then went !!

We've done covid tests and they are negative !!

At what point should I see a Gp and should I be worried? The nursery have said hand foot and mouth and chicken pox are going roun - but we don't have symptoms of these !!
