Chicken pox

Hello

Just wondering about everyone's experiences of chicken pox. My one year old has been under the weather and also had a ear infection.

She's got some really nasty spots on her bum, I put it down to nappy rash - admittedly she's never had nappy rash this bad before.

Last night after her bath I noticed they are also now on her feet. And there are little red spots elsewhere too but not as bad as the bum/feet.

I expected that she'd have lots more by this morning but she has maybe one more. Could this be chicken pox? How quickly do they become covered after the first few spots?

It sounds more like hand foot and mouth. The spots look very similar.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that too when I saw it on her feet.. but nothing on her hands or face...

She's meant to go to nursery today but I don't know what to do now
