Infected blister

DD has what looks like an infected blister - it's quite small, but area around it is very red and itchy, and her thumb is swollen.

Is this something that needs treatment tonight or can it wait until tomorrow?

Don't know if you can see but there is patchy redness down her thumb and below

My ds had something similar on his thumb and needed antibiotics, dr said it can usually go away without them if kept clean but ds one was stubborn for some reason
