I've just returned from minor injuries with my DS. He has a suspected wrist fracture and an appointment for the fracture clinic on the way.

In the same accident, he hurt his knee. This was yesterday but the wound has turned a funny colour. We didn't mention the knee at minor injuries because he said it wasn't hurting but he's since taken the plaster off and this is what it looks like.

Do I need to take him back to minor injuries? Called the GP to see if a nurse could check it but there's nobody there who could.

It looks alright to me, id leave the plaster off to air it and just clean it with some warm water

Great, thank you!

Give it a clean and leave it to let their air get to it.
Plasters make things gooey so it'll look worse before it dries out

It just looks like a regular graze, don’t haul yourself back there. Watch out for red and heat if it gets infected, but so far looks like regular graze ooze Envy
