Chicken Pox & Siblings

My 2yo DD has come out in chicken pox today. I also have a 4yo DS and a 4mo DS - they're both fine at the moment. My DS is in school full time. He's in school currently as I've seen my DD chicken pox after I've taken him. I was unsure on what to do regarding him but after a little Google it seems I'm fine to let him carry on going to school until he gets symptoms (if he does). I just don't want to be an irresponsible parent and send if it's a bad idea. If I keep him off school I could be looking at 3 weeks + which I don't think is a good idea (he's already having a bit of tough time getting used to reception at the moment too). Would you other Mum's be sending your symptom free children to school too?

Yes you need to send him in. He might not get it at all, or he might get it just as it goes in your DD. As he has only just started school too, I think it would be worse for him to miss school.

You are infectious for a couple of days before the spots appear.
