I have been researching puberty blockers for a family member for early puberty and found this. Has anyone else done any research on this topic or had personal or family experience? genevievegluck.substack.com/p/puberty-blockers-and-the-medical

There's a significant difference between delaying an abnormally early puberty, to allow for normal growth and development, and arresting a normal age appropriate puberty.

For "precocious puberty" ie very early puberty in the UK they are used sparingly and carefully based on the experience of a very good friend of mine and her daughter (under 10).

Her daughter's consultant is appalled by their use in teenagers for "identity/trans issues" where there are a host of significant health concerns.
