I've read various threads regarding concerns over the safety of the hpv vaccine but nothing recent. What does everyone think about it now?

My dd got both jabs. Has been fine

Some years ago when dd was due hers, I was frantic over it, reading about all the negatives and very little about the positives. There was a very low uptake that year in dd's class, and in the country (Ireland). Roll on a couple of years and the negative voices weren't getting much press, some wonderful women had been diagnosed with cervical cancer having had their smears misread, and there was a large push for girls to get their vaccine. Dd along with all those class mates got theirs. Overall the uptake countrywide had increased too. Now it's available to boys too I'll have not hesitation when it comes to Ds getting it.

My DD became very ill after it a few years ago, and is disabled now as a result. Not sure if she will be able to work etc. Drs basically said there's nothing they can do to help her.
Her reaction was a very rare occurrence and
Ive no idea if I'll sign for my others to get it (luckily still a few years away). Eldest is in no way anti-vax now, had the covid jab as soon as it became available to her. I'm not sure my reply gives you any answers, I guess as a family we just weigh up the risks for ourselves as best we can and then we know we have made the best decision with info we had available.
