my baby is 10 weeks old and is usually really easy to calm down with either cuddles with mummy, dummy, boobs, bouncing, bath time or even looking at a light! but lately he’s been occasionally waking from night time sleep and some naps hysterically crying and impossible to calm down. does anybody know why? i feel so helpless. I’ve tried everything i can think of, even frozen breast milk lollies for teething but nothing works. I don’t mind the waking up, it’s just the crying i feel so bad i can’t help!

This sounds very stressful for a caring parent. This is a good resource with lots of reassurance for this time in a baby's life, which can be a struggle.

Seems alittle young for teething op. Could it be reflux/colic/wind? If the crying is excessive I'd take baby to get checked out at gp to be on safe side. Trapped wind and reflux was major issue with mine at this age.
