Any ideas? Been waiting 7 hours for a call back from 111 Sad

Is it just on the legs?

Lea1437 · 04/09/2021 19:12

No but that's the worst of it. It's everywhere to an extent apart from the back.

To me it looks a bit like heat rash. Do the red spots fade when you press a glass against it?

PrincessofPeeves · 04/09/2021 19:14

It looks like heat rash to me too but you're definitely doing the right thing getting it checked out

Yespresh · 04/09/2021 19:14

Ring again and say you are going to A&E.

MyNameForToday1980 · 04/09/2021 19:15

Deffo get it checked out, but DD used to get a very similar rash reasonably frequently and it was a 'post viral rash' (often the rash would be the first sign she'd had a virus).

YukoandHiro · 04/09/2021 19:17

Looks like heat or viral but if it's unusual for your little one get it checked - presume you've done the glass test?

My first daughter had so many viral rashes I no longer worry at all if it's blanching

Lea1437 · 04/09/2021 19:20

The spots do fade. We tried ringing back but there was a message saying if it was about callbacks they are currently experiencing a backlog. Was meant to be 2 hours.
He's fine otherwise and has had a cold/cough recently so hopefully it's just part of that.
Thanks for all your replies.

Just got my call back 12 hours later asking if I still want a call back! Thankfully he's been fine apart from the rash.
