Teething and cleaning teeth

So after ten months of thinking my son was never going to have any teeth I've had a look today and I can feel and see a tooth. He won't let me look at it whilst he's awake but he's had no symptoms whatsoever other than this morning I noticed spots around his mouth.

I'm not sure if the tooth has pushed through the skin yet or whether it has still got a layer of skin over the top of it that it'll have to break through, but I can feel the bumpy tooth with my finger. So my question is should I start cleaning his teeth now? Or should I wait until more of the tooth has come out of the gum?

Also might be a stupid question but do I literally just brush that one tooth that's come through? Or along both his gums too, because there's no more teeth yet
